One of the most local, lowest-key food spots in the Orchard area. Filipino stalls, Chinese counters, old-school atmosphere. My Favourite Cafe inside does Yong Tau Foo from $6.30 — fresh, customizable, good if you want something lighter. This is cheap food in Orchard at its most honest.

12. MOS Burger

Japanese fast food with more thought put into it than the average chain. Rice burgers are worth trying. Meals run $7–$11. Quality is noticeably above the standard fast food options nearby. Good quick option when you want something a bit different.
